Telecare Corporation is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at Villa Fairmont Mental Health Rehabilitation Center. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, and surfaces
- Empty trash and recyclables, and transport medical waste to the outside storeroom
- Wash and sanitize equipment and utensils
- Restock supplies and equipment as needed
- Assist with special events and projects as needed
Requirements:
- One year of relevant experience in a hotel, motel, healthcare, or similar work environment
- High school graduation or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Good communication skills and a desire to work with mentally impaired adults
Working Conditions:
The Housekeeper will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The position requires standing, walking, and bending for long periods. The Housekeeper may be exposed to dust, gas, fumes, or chemicals, and may work at heights.
