Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of construction workers and subcontractors
  • Plan and schedule work activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
  • Monitor work progress and quality to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the team

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification is a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes
  • Familiarity with relevant construction software and tools
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Proficiency in using construction tools, equipment, and software
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Working Environment

The Construction Foreman will work primarily outdoors at construction sites, exposed to various weather conditions and potential hazards. Physical demands include lifting, standing, and operating heavy machinery. May require flexible work hours and occasional travel.
