Job Summary:

Ascential Medical and Life Sciences is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the development of effective processes and delivery of high-quality products to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of statistical methods and measurement techniques, as well as experience with lean manufacturing processes and production system implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement effective process control systems to support product development and manufacturing.
• Develop Process Monitoring Systems to reduce process variation and eliminate defects.
• Lead process control and monitoring of Critical Quality Attributes and specifications.
• Apply sound problem-solving methodologies to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Design and conduct experiments for process optimization and improvement.
• Lead process improvement efforts by identifying methods to capture quality metric data and performing analysis to enhance product design and development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or a related field.
• Understanding of statistical methods and measurement techniques.
• Experience with lean manufacturing processes and production system implementation.
• Familiarity with (SIPOC), DMAIC methodology, and statistically-focused tools such as CpK, DOE, SPC, and Gage R&R.

Work Environment:

The Manufacturing Process Engineer will work in a quality system environment, exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of Quality System Regulations and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
