Biohazard Remediation Team Lead

About the Role
\We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Restoration and Remediation to lead our biohazard remediation team in N. Attleboro. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing shop operations, developing staff, and supporting biohazard remediation projects.
\The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, managing shop operations, and responding to emergency situations. You will also possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
\In addition to your technical expertise, you will be able to effectively communicate with customers, provide exceptional customer service, and build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.

\Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop staff, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company policies\
- Manage shop operations, including staffing, interviewing, onboarding, training, and scheduling\
- Support biohazard remediation projects, including emergency response and job site management\
- Foster strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners\
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations\
- Meet or exceed performance targets and business objectives\
- Maintain accurate records and reports, as required\
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies\
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve business growth and expansion\
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities\
- Provide input on budgeting and resource allocation\
- Monitor and manage costs, resources, and project timelines\
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices\
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and developments\
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the organization\
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment\
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams\
- Coaches and mentors team members to achieve their full potential\
- Serves as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to colleagues\
- Participates in cross-functional teams and committees, as needed\
- Advises leadership on business development opportunities and strategic initiatives\
- Provides input on product and service offerings, pricing, and marketing strategies\
- Develops and implements sales and marketing plans to drive business growth\
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners\
- Manages and resolves customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner\
- Ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty through excellent service and quality products\
- Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth and expansion\
- Identifies and capitalizes on new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and joint ventures\
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies and plans\
- Participates in market research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity\
- Communicates effectively with colleagues, customers, and external partners, both verbally and in writing\
- Demonstrates excellent presentation and public speaking skills\
- Ability to travel, as required\

Requirements
\To be considered for this role, you must have:
\* A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in biohazard remediation, construction, mitigation, restoration, or a related field
\* Proven leadership experience, especially in a technical or field service environment
\* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
\* Ability to lift up to 50lbs and handle physically demanding tasks
\* Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record required
\* Must reside locally and be able to respond to the shop within one hour of receiving a service call
\* Completion of Aftermath's Field Learning Path within 30 days and Supervisor Learning Path within 90 days of start
\* IICRC S540 certification or equivalent in biohazard remediation is preferred but not required
\* Military personnel are encouraged to apply
\* Relevant backgrounds include EMT, Mortuary Affairs, Restoration, Mitigation, Remediation, Asbestos Abatement, Construction, Pest Control, and similar fields
\Preferred Qualifications
\* Proven experience in project management and team leadership in high-stress scenarios
\* Customer service experience and military backgrounds are highly valued
\* Exceptional communication skills and a history of successful community engagement
\* Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and relevant software
