Job Summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic procedures using state-of-the-art computerized tomography equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate leadership skills and work collaboratively with other imaging technologists to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including complex imaging procedures, utilizing advanced computerized tomography equipment.
  • Patient Care: Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and potential contraindications, and interact appropriately with patients and care providers to maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Departmental Support: Assist radiologists in invasive and biopsy procedures, and ensure that exam rooms are clean and adequately stocked.
  • Administrative Tasks: Ensure accurate coding and entry of charges, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
  • Certifications: None required.
Work Environment
