Position: Senior Audio-Visual Installation Supervisor Department: Operations Reports To: Project Manager or Account Executive POSITION OVERVIEW: This role entails the leadership and management of a team of technicians tasked with the installation of audio-visual hardware components, ensuring that all financial, programmatic, and operational objectives are met. Reporting to a Project Manager, the Senior AV Installation Supervisor is a vital member of the Operations team, contributing to the success of a premier sales and AV integration initiative. As a seasoned professional within a dynamic installation environment, you will independently coordinate, receive, inventory, assemble, and install AV equipment at various job sites, adhering to company policies and procedures regarding quality, safety, environmental standards, and business practices. This position involves regional travel, with job sites located throughout the metropolitan areas of Wyoming and Colorado, as well as opportunities for national assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of installation teams, ensuring successful completion of projects.
  • Schedule and manage travel arrangements and accommodations for team members as necessary.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in achieving higher-level certifications.
  • Handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and performing installations in various environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to audio and video equipment installations.
  • Execute cable installations and terminations using appropriate connectors.
  • Drill into various materials for the installation of AV systems.
  • Work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in AV team leadership and management.
  • CTS certification is mandatory.
  • CTS-I certification or the willingness to obtain it within the first year of employment.
  • Ability to travel frequently, often on short notice, and work extended hours.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug testing prior to employment.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in team management.
  • Proficiency in standard office software, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and industrial equipment.
  • Quick learner with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Friendly demeanor and approachable personality.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Physical capability to lift 75 pounds and complete safety training.
Supervisory Duties:
  • Lead and direct AV technician teams on-site.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation logistics for team members.
  • Maintain relationships with client contacts at various job sites.
