This Nutrition Specialist will play a crucial role in overseeing aspects of bariatric medicine programming, engaging with patients in both individual and group settings. This position serves as the primary operational contact for program offerings, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and successful patient outcomes in partnership with healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy to support both surgical and non-surgical weight loss initiatives;
- Hold a Registered Dietitian credential with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Acute Care, preferably in an outpatient environment;
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals to enhance service delivery;
- Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients and clients.

Compensation and Benefits: Sodexo offers competitive and equitable compensation, influenced by educational background and relevant experience. While the budgeted salary range for this position is available, actual offers will be tailored based on individual qualifications, including experience, skills, and education.
Qualifications:
Basic Education Requirement: A Bachelor's degree with completion of necessary coursework and supervised practice as mandated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). (Note: For those pursuing registration after 2023, a Master's degree will be necessary.)
Basic Functional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of practical experience, capable of working with minimal supervision.
Credentials Requirement:
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR);
- State-specific certification/licensure as required;
- Specialty credentials in relevant areas of practice or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP) as applicable.
