Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition care to patients, including nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to identify and connect with patients seeking medical nutrition therapy.
  • Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients and families.
  • Maintain credentials and continuing education through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition, dietetics, or public health.
  • Successful completion of a dietetic internship approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Current Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) card.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in nutrition or a related field.
  • Significant experience and training in outpatient nutrition care.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
