ROLE SUMMARY

The Facility Maintenance Specialist is tasked with ensuring cleanliness and sanitation across production areas, communal spaces, and outdoor environments. QUALIFICATIONS

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Prior experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is advantageous.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas.
  • Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and shared spaces regularly.
  • Disinfect frequently touched surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying and cleaning trash receptacles.
  • Ensure outdoor areas are free from litter and debris, including walkways and parking lots.
  • Care for and maintain cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Report maintenance needs or equipment issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist in cleaning production machinery as required.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
  • Respond efficiently to cleaning requests from production staff.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow janitorial staff and production teams.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding cleaning schedules and tasks.
