Pharmacy Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

• Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the performance of various pharmacy duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and perform other related tasks.
  
• Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
  
• Develop strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedules, including evening and weekend hours.
  
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
  
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
