Job Description:

In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision. Performs various tasks to support the Pharmacy Department, including processing prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, verifying patient information, and processing payments.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, prescriptions, and inventory.
  • Provides exceptional customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assists with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Supports the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in developing and maintaining good relationships with the local medical community.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
