University Health System is committed to providing high-quality mental health services to our community. We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Care Associate to join our team in this part-time PRN role.

About the Job

As a Psychiatric Care Associate, you will work closely with our Psychiatry Services team to provide patient care and support. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient preparation and treatment procedures, maintaining a safe and supportive environment, and contributing to the overall well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist with patient preparation and treatment procedures, including preparing patients for therapy sessions and administering medications as needed.
  2. Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
  3. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients, listening to their concerns and helping them to feel heard.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One year of experience in a psychiatric setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • You must have current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
Estimated Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $45,000. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
