Position Overview
Join the Internal Medicine department as a Residency Program Coordinator.
This is a full-time role, requiring 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, typically between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
Role Summary:
The Residency Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering administrative assistance to the Program Director, Associate Program Directors, and Residency Program Managers. This position is essential for the timely and effective management of program documentation, data entry, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates data entry into New Innovations, monitors checklists, and manages duty hour/procedure logging.
- Organizes and schedules meetings/events, ensuring agendas are maintained and meeting minutes are documented.
- Coordinates logistics for program events, including room scheduling, audio/visual support, catering, and presentation materials.
- Supports the management and execution of operational activities within the program.
- Assists with various program events such as retreats, orientations, graduations, conferences, daily didactics, meetings, and interviews.
- Provides support to Residency Program Managers with electronic databases, including New Innovations, Thalamus, ERAS, and ADS.
- Helps with In-Training Exam registration, scheduling, and proctoring.
- Assists in scheduling interviews and recruitment activities.
- Collects and organizes necessary recruitment documentation.
- Supports the review and updates of the program's website.
- Offers travel and administrative assistance to the Residency Program Director and Managers.
- Upholds and exemplifies the values of Nuvance Health.
- Maintains regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Performs additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required.
