Job Summary:

To support the daily provision of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and CT services, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented MRI CT Tech Assistant to join our team.

This role will work under the direct supervision of certified technologists, assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet patients as they arrive, assist with paperwork, and answer phone calls regarding scheduling and patient history.
  • Escort patients to dressing areas, assist with lifting and transferring patients, and establish IV access as needed.
  • Conduct MRI screening, properly pad and position patients, and perform telemetry monitoring during exams.
  • Provide discharge instructions, report equipment malfunctions, and assist with QC functions.
  • Transport patients, clean and prepare exam rooms, and maintain a safe and clean environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of previous medical office experience.
  • Medical terminology and recent medical/imaging office experience preferred.
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
