Job Summary:

Radiation Oncology Nurse at HCA TriStar

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at HCA TriStar. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiation oncology department.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients throughout their radiation treatment journey and educate them on potential side effects and management of their care.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, schedule diagnostic and/or radiation treatment planning exams, and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of the multidisciplinary team to ensure well-coordinated patient care, implement and document physician and nursing orders, and assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Current BLS upon hire, ACLS preferred
  • TN RN Licensure, or compact state licensure
  • At least 1 year of RN experience, Critical care experience Preferred
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or BMT Certified Nurse preferred but not required
