Key Responsibilities- Build Meaningful Relationships: Develop strong relationships with residents and their families, providing assistance with activities of daily living and attending to individual care needs.
- Notify Management of Changes: Inform management of any changes in a resident's condition and recommend adjustments in care and services as needed.
- Life Enriching Activities: Assist residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities, as indicated on their individual profile.
- Participate in ISP Development: Collaborate with the community team to develop and update Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) for residents.
- Resident Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during the shift, physically checking on them throughout the day.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote risk management programs and policies.
- Customer Service: Respond to the dining needs of residents and guests, maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
- Dedication to Serving Seniors: Demonstrate a passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
- Teamwork and Flexibility: Possess a positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Education and Certifications: High school diploma/GED accepted, with certifications required in states where applicable.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the best interest of residents.
