We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at Flagship Facility Services. As a Janitorial Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and employees.
Responsibilities- Janitorial Duties: Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, and polish floors using industrial equipment.
- Specialized Cleaning: Dust and wash walls, ceilings, and light fixtures; clean windows and ledges.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums and scrubbing machines.
- Waste Management: Empty waste baskets and replace liners as needed.
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals; sweep and mop floors with disinfectant.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
- Skills: Good listening and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Our facilities are located in a small-to-large office environment. You will be exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments. Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products, and noise.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to perform repetitive movements, stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, or hear. Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move a minimum of 40 pounds of office and facilities equipment (cleaning products, tools, and ladders) and trash and the ability to safely use equipment provided.
