Neonatal Intensive Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care to premature and critically ill newborns in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive physical assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and monitoring the progress of neonatal patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical assessments of neonatal patients to identify potential health issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team to ensure the best possible care for neonatal patients.
- Monitor the progress of neonatal patients, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and support to parents and families on neonatal care, empowering them to make informed decisions about their child's health.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as necessary to provide high-quality care to neonatal patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to ensure timely and effective communication among healthcare team members.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and certification within state of practice.
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in neonatal nursing or NICU setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment to provide comprehensive care to neonatal patients.
