Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying and prioritizing patient needs to deliver holistic care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating patient education and discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, ensuring efficient delivery and effective problem-solving.
- Advocate for patient rights and identify potential conflicts, seeking resolution as necessary.
- Document patient care activities accurately, adhering to documentation standards and providing assistance as needed.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
- Additional specialty experience may be required, as per facility practices (e.g., Pediatric, GI, etc.).
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Active RN license, as required by the state of employment.
- Valid BCLS Certification upon employment, with ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months.
