Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our team at DW Crandall Painting Inc. as a key member of our residential painting division. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage residential painting projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Estimate project costs and develop detailed project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
- Lead and motivate a team of painters to achieve project objectives and maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring profitability.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win new projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience in residential painting project management and estimation.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
