About the Role

Aventon is a leading e-bike company that's revolutionizing the way people experience the world. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our backend operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse and 3PL Management: Directly manage company-owned warehouse operations, ensuring effective space utilization, safety protocols, and efficient stock movement.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure efficient and cost-effective storage and distribution solutions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between various departments within the company, facilitating smooth communication and timely resolution of any challenges.
  • In/Outbound Shipment: Oversee and manage all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal efficiency. Coordinate with freight companies and internal teams to ensure the timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Implement strategies for efficient stock rotation, reducing wastage and costs associated with holding excessive inventory.
  • Coordinate regular stock checks, reconcile inventory records, and ensure accuracy of stock data.
  • Returns Management: Oversee and streamline the returns process, ensuring quick processing and minimal impact on the business.
  • Analyze return data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement, implementing changes as necessary.
  • Cost Analysis and Optimization: Analyze storage and shipment costs to identify areas for savings and optimization.
  • Implement strategies and negotiate contracts to achieve cost reductions without compromising service quality.
  • ERP System Expertise: Leverage experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and NetSuite, to optimize operational processes, ensure data accuracy, and generate insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Demonstrable expertise in cost analysis and optimization in logistics and storage.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems, notably SAP and NetSuite.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Mandarin preferred as this position frequently interfaces with suppliers in Asia.
What We Offer

A competitive salary range of $89,199 - $148,374 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
