Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Implement evidence-based practices, staying up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines to provide best-in-class care.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements
  • BSN degree or associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
  • Current Ohio RN licensure.
  • CPR certification and willingness to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON, or other necessary certifications.
