Bridge Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Engineer to join our team at TYLin. As a Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for structurally analyzing and designing various types of bridge structures in and outside of the United States.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform engineering calculations and analysis for the design of reinforced/prestressed concrete and steel bridge structures.
- Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates in accordance with applicable design codes.
- Develop scalable digital solutions for use on projects.
- Develop production work plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct independent quality control.
- Ability to plan and schedule engineering work.
- Ability to respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), Field Design Changes (FDCs), Contract Change Orders (CCOs), etc.
- Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- California PE license or eligibility and willingness to pass PE test required.
- At least 4 years' bridge structural design experience with emphasis on bridge structures.
- Strong technical skills in structural analysis and design of various types of bridge structures.
- Proficiency in recognized parametric design/scripting software such as Rhino, Grasshopper, and/or Dynamo preferred.
- Proficiency in commercial analysis software such as CSI Bridge, Larsa 4D, and/or Sofistik preferred.
- Proficiency in relational databases such as SQL or MS Access preferred.
- Experience in data visualization preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as interpersonal skills.
