Job Description

BAE Systems USA is seeking a highly skilled WLAN Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our wireless network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement wireless network solutions to meet business requirements
  • Configure and troubleshoot wireless network equipment, including access points, switches, and controllers
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including system design, operations, and implementation guides
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of wireless network infrastructure with existing systems
  • Perform site surveys to optimize wireless network performance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure our network remains secure and efficient
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in wireless network engineering and design
  • Strong knowledge of wireless network protocols, including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac
  • Experience with wireless network equipment, including Cisco and Aruba
  • Ability to learn new products and technologies quickly
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCNA Wireless certification
  • CCNA Routing and Switching certification
  • Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) certification
  • Experience with wireless network security, including 802.1x RADIUS authentication
