Job Summary

A top tax, accounting and consulting firm is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to contribute to their team's success. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional tax services to clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in and oversee the completion of state and local tax projects for clients, utilizing your expertise in Ohio tax law and multistate income/franchise tax.
  • Manage and prioritize state and local tax workload, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Supervise and review the work of team members on assigned client engagements, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Perform technical tax research, analyze data, and develop recommendations to assist clients.
  • Consult with department leaders and client personnel to ensure seamless engagement completion.
  • Research and draft summaries of state tax legislation to communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • BA or BS in accounting or a related field.
  • CPA certification or legal license required.
  • Strong proficiency in technology and basic PC applications (Excel, Word).
  • Approximately 2-3 years of experience in state and local tax, with preparation and/or review experience of state income and franchise tax returns preferred.
