About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert tax guidance and support to our clients, helping them navigate complex tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized tax advice and support
  • Conduct tax interviews and prepare tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws
  • Provide tax planning and audit support, helping clients minimize tax liabilities and maximize refunds
  • Stay up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations, ensuring our clients receive the best possible advice
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, driving continuous improvement in our tax services

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong background in individual and business tax returns
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex tax laws and regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
