Claims Processor

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Processor to join our team at MAU Workforce Solutions. As a Claims Processor, you will play a critical role in processing claims, validating data, and determining coverage for clients based on their benefit plan.
Key Responsibilities- Review and process claims submissions in a timely and accurate manner
- Validate data provided by clients to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Clarify any missing account information and update records accordingly
- Answer a high volume of calls promptly and professionally
- Screen and direct calls accordingly to ensure efficient resolution
- Maintain quality standards and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Respond to phone call inquiries regarding the processing of a claim
- Manage time adequately to ensure proper turnaround for all tasks such as customer service requests, follow-up, and audit feedback
- Work collaboratively with teammates and supervisor to ensure the needs of the client are being met
- Comply with state laws, policies, and company procedures
- Utilize specified phone call production tracking and reporting procedure
- Adhere to strict attendance and tardiness policies
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year(s) of clerical experience preferred
- Ability to interface via computer through video and online portals
- Strong computer skills, especially proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Attention to details and time management skills
- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter to accomplish daily goals
- Technical aptitude to troubleshoot customer issues
- Responsive and thorough follow-through for resolving customer issues
- $18 per hour
- 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
