About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Transport Paramedic to join our team at Ped-Flite. As a key member of our critical care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to pediatric patients in need of emergency medical attention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care to ill/injured patients at referring facilities and during transports to receiving facilities.
  • Relay patient condition information to medical control physicians and work with team members and medical control to develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
  • Comply with Pedi-Flite policy and procedure, hospital policies, and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement and marketing efforts for the Pedi-Flite program.
  • Serve as an educator and special resource provider of critical care services.
Requirements
  • Technical degree or diploma in Paramedicine (required).
  • Driving experience as an Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic.
  • Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support, Paramedicine (Mississippi State Department of Health), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
