Advanced Cardiovascular Care Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Advanced Cardiovascular Care Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years recent acute care experience and be proficient in utilizing computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information.
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a critical care area that requires close observation and intervention. PCU nurses will work with patients who require a significant amount of complex medications, sometimes through an intravenous line that may need to be adjusted or titrated. This role involves providing basic bedside care, stabilizing critical cardiac patients, and preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medication.
To succeed in this role, you should possess good skills for coping with stress and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds. You will also need to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Additionally, you should be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Requirements include ACLS, BLS, NIH, and 2 Years of experience. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. With a salary range of $120,000-$150,000 per year, this opportunity offers a competitive compensation package.
