Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and conduct comprehensive financial statement audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, including private enterprises, nonprofit organizations, and governmental bodies.
  • Work closely with engagement partners and managers to strategize audit engagements, evaluate risks, and define audit objectives and methodologies.
  • Supervise junior audit staff, providing guidance and mentorship throughout engagements.
  • Execute detailed audit testing, assess internal controls, and evaluate the accuracy of financial reporting to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Draft thorough audit reports and present findings to clients in a clear and effective manner.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert guidance on accounting, financial reporting, and compliance issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive auditing experience within a public accounting environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and PCAOB standards.
  • Proficient in Excel and other relevant software.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, with a commitment to mentoring and developing team members.
