Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and conduct comprehensive financial statement audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, including private enterprises, nonprofit organizations, and governmental bodies.
- Work closely with engagement partners and managers to strategize audit engagements, evaluate risks, and define audit objectives and methodologies.
- Supervise junior audit staff, providing guidance and mentorship throughout engagements.
- Execute detailed audit testing, assess internal controls, and evaluate the accuracy of financial reporting to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Draft thorough audit reports and present findings to clients in a clear and effective manner.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert guidance on accounting, financial reporting, and compliance issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive auditing experience within a public accounting environment.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and PCAOB standards.
- Proficient in Excel and other relevant software.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, with a commitment to mentoring and developing team members.
