Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Inspector, your role will encompass the following:

  • Utilizing mathematical skills to perform calculations in various units of measure, essential for precise measurement and calibration.
  • Interpreting and applying contractual obligations, standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrating proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and possessing basic computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office.
  • Exhibiting a strong grasp of Basic GD&T Concepts and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Conducting first article and final inspections according to specified drawings and routing instructions.
  • Completing inspection reports (FAIR) in compliance with AS9102 standards.
  • Verifying in-process inspections, completing inspection reports, and ensuring accurate parts counts.
  • Utilizing various quality control inspection tools, such as micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
  • Identifying non-conforming materials and generating Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
  • Executing final inspection tasks to align with daily shipment schedules.
Position Details

This is a full-time position with the following schedule:

  • Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday shifts
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, specifically in metal fabrication.
Compensation

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on various factors, including education, experience, job duties, and certifications.
