Job Overview

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Intellisense Systems, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality products meet our customers' stringent requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Representing Quality Assurance for DoD programs, applying AS9100 QMS and AS9145 APQP requirements
  • Authoring and maintaining program-specific quality assurance plans tailored to program requirements
  • Reviewing and approving program documentation, including drawings, assemblies, procedures, and reports
  • Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met
  • Supporting product return processes (RMAs) and monitoring verification and validation activities for compliance
  • Analyzing failures, working with engineering to determine root cause, and initiating corrective action on product and internal process failures
  • Tracking problem reports, nonconformances, and verifying corrective action
  • Creating first-article inspection reports (FAIRs) per AS9102 requirements and supporting compliance and customer audits
  • Performing supplier qualification, performance evaluations, visits, and audits, as well as managing supplier quality performance and audits
  • Providing guidance and training for quality assurance processes and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of the Quality Systems
  • Defining, analyzing, managing, and improving program and process metrics

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline
  • 5-8+ years' experience in Quality Assurance Engineering
  • Familiarity with applying ISO 9000; AS9100 QMS, AS9145 APQP, and AS9102 FAIRs requirements
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of QA processes and methodology
  • Experience with testing, failure reporting, and analysis
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain Security Clearance (a plus)
