Location: Nashville, TN
Compensation: $34.61/hour - Night Shift
Role Summary

The Controls Technician serves as a crucial support role following the Electricians. This position is responsible for addressing maintenance challenges associated with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), robotic systems, and automated machinery. A significant portion of the responsibilities involves on-site troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical malfunctions, while a smaller portion focuses on diagnosing issues within the PLC programming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct troubleshooting on the production floor to diagnose electrical issues.
  • Utilize a laptop for effective troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal operation of automated systems.
Required Experience
  • Familiarity with Fanuc robotic systems.
  • Experience with Mitsubishi PLCs.
  • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to use a multimeter effectively.
  • Background in industrial maintenance.
  • Knowledge of ABB robotic systems.
  • Understanding of sensor technology.
  • Experience with camera systems.
Work Environment

This role is based in an industrial plant setting, which is not climate-controlled.
