We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at St. Luke's Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our mission to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and other life-support systems.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the AHA or ARC.
- 2 years of experience in respiratory care, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
