About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to lead our team in overseeing residential and commercial project work across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, electrical, and civil estimating, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities include preparing estimates from bid walks, CD's, and SOW, attending walks with customers, identifying subcontractors and resources required for the project, reviewing plans and specifications, and performing material takeoffs.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build customer relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to create forms, letters, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, meet deadlines, and calculate dimensions and materials as needed.
