Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Staff Data Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and building data engineering solutions in cloud environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging multiple tools and programming languages to analyze and manipulate large datasets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud architecture, and DevOps principles, as well as excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include designing and building data engineering solutions in cloud environments, API/Microservices development, and experience with Git, CI/CD pipeline, and other DevOps principles/best practices. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams, as well as Google Professional Data Engineer/Architect Certification. The successful candidate will also have experience with deployment/scaling of apps on containerized environment (i.e. Kubernetes, AKS) as well as on serverless compute services, and 7+ years of experience with real-time and streaming technology (i.e. Azure Event Hubs, Azure Functions, Kafka, Spark Streaming).

Requirements
7+ years of experience with Big data and cloud architecture, 4+ years of hands-on experience building modern data pipelines within a major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure). The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
