Job Summary

The Cashier and Sales Team Member is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout process. This role involves working with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Project a positive and friendly demeanor, greet customers, and thank them by name when possible.
  • Checkout Operations: Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently, answer and monitor calls and pages promptly, and communicate any issues that require management assistance.
  • Store Appearance and Upkeep: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the front end, checkout areas, and entrance doors.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with pricing, stocking, marking, and bagging merchandise, and ensure that impulse counters are stocked and faced.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Cashier experience preferred, but not required. Customer service experience is also preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs), and climbing.
