About the Job:

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and building high-end production machinery for various industries, including high-speed packaging machinery, pharmaceutical grade processing equipment, and food grade production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and mount electric motors, hydraulic pumps, gearboxes, and conveying systems within machinery
  • Install pneumatic and hydraulic fittings, hoses, and other components as needed
  • Wire touch screens, push-buttons, fans, and electric motors
  • Build electrical panels and work with voltages up to 480VAC
  • Install bearings, belting, drive shafts, acme rods, and other parts per machine design
  • Test completed machinery builds to ensure equipment is fully operational

Requirements:

  • 2 years of OEM Assembly, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanic, or relevant mechanical/electrical experience
  • Experience working with 110V, 220V, or 480V electrical components preferred
  • Previous OEM machine building experience preferred
