Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, providing preventative maintenance services, and assisting customers with roadside services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
- Provide preventative maintenance services to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.
- Assist customers with roadside services, including fueling, tire changes, and other repairs.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean and organized work areas.
- Interact with customers and drivers from all over, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
