Job Overview

A reputable General Contracting firm based in Hickory, NC, seeks a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial projects in the Western NC area.

About the Role

The successful candidate will manage daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to maintain project timelines.
  • Monitoring project progress and preparing regular reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Conducting site inspections and ensuring all work is completed to specifications.
  • Resolving any issues that arise during construction in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • OSHA certification and knowledge of safety regulations.
