Job Summary:
The College of Education and Professional Studies at the University of Central Oklahoma is seeking a part-time Adjunct Clinical Supervisor for the Speech-Language Pathology program. The successful candidate will provide oversight of speech-language clinical service provision by student clinicians, guiding them in providing evidence-based treatment and effective clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision to student clinicians, ensuring they meet the program's standards and expectations.
- Guide student clinicians in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.
- Monitor and evaluate student clinicians' progress, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with faculty members to ensure alignment with program goals and objectives.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of clinical education policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Minimum of two years of post-CFY experience in SLP therapy provision.
- Current ASHA certification of clinical competency (CCC) and an Oklahoma state license.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Clinical mentoring or supervision experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced academic environment, interacting with students, faculty, and staff. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
