Job Overview

Position: Material Handler

Location: Valparaiso, IN

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Compensation: Starting at $18 per hour

Shift Availability: Flexibility required for various shifts including nights and days, with options for 8 or 12-hour shifts.

Shift Details:

  • Day Shift: 7 am - 7 pm
  • Night Shift: 7 pm - 7 am
  • Standard Day: 8 am - 5 pm (Monday - Friday)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with general warehouse duties and responsibilities.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including 12-hour shifts and weekends.
  • Capability to remain seated or standing for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate forklift machinery.
  • Utilize material handling equipment to transport, organize, stack, and inventory products.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
