Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Equipment Technician to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining and adjusting process recipes and machine profiles, programming machines as assigned, and ensuring internal and customer quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain and adjust process recipes and machine profiles.
  • Program machines as assigned, including file management and backups.
  • Ensure internal and customer quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot the production process when necessary.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on equipment.
  • Order SMT stencils.
  • Repair and rework components, including high heat levels and drilling.
  • Train production operators on equipment and processes.
  • Provide guidance and instruction to associates on manufacturability questions.
  • Demonstrate and explain equipment and processes to visitors.

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a mechanical understanding of equipment used in manufacturing, be familiar with customer and company quality acceptance specifications, and be able to communicate effectively and relate to co-workers. Self-motivated, function independently with minimal supervision. Blue print reading and knowledge of SPC techniques are also required. A high school diploma or GED is required, technical training or experience is preferred in electronics and equipment operations and personal computers. Prefer experience working in SMT with both thru-hole & SMT solder experience.
