Job Title: Assembler Tester III

HME is a leading manufacturer of innovative products for the drive-thru and pro-audio industries. We are seeking an experienced Assembler Tester III to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Assembler Tester III will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical products to ensure quality and meet production schedules. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and rework products according to specifications
  • Verify accuracy of instruction documents and use automated test equipment
  • Package parts into kits for shipping and label products
  • Train others in assembly, rework, and packaging processes
  • Perform testing activities, including current checks and operation of Automated Test Equipment
  • Program boards using different software according to procedure and version required
  • Conduct routine electrical tests and sort failed assemblies from passed assemblies
  • Assist Team Lead with planning, inventory control, and product movement
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of electronic assembly and testing experience
  • Ability to perform moderately complex assembly operations
  • Soldering experience required
  • Technical expert and/or trainer in multiple skill sets of electro-mechanical assembly
  • Basic understanding of small hand tools
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and assembly aides
