This position entails assessing and ensuring sufficient inventory levels, placing orders, tracking shipments, and collaborating with operational teams to establish preventive maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and stock essential components
  • Maintain precise inventory documentation
  • Oversee the Preventive Maintenance Program
  • Support the supervision of the maintenance department
  • Plan and implement maintenance initiatives
  • Facilitate effective communication with mechanics and management
  • Utilize computerized tracking systems
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards
  • Monitor parts orders and liaise with suppliers
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in inventory management
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to established processes
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various outdoor tasks
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in inventory management and procurement
  • Familiarity with Mechanical Maintenance Systems
  • Experience with inventory controls in trucking operations

Education:

  • Associates Degree (Preferred but not Required)
