Stripping Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Stripping Laborer to join our team at Wells Concrete. As a Stripping Laborer, you will be responsible for stripping panels, ensuring all nails are removed, and dulling edges of concrete using a hand stone.

• Strip panels to prepare them for finishing
• Remove all nails from mold material
• Dull edges of concrete using a hand stone
• Inspect and assist with rigging
• Assist with clean-up of production area
• Prepare panels for final finishing
• Assist with special projects as directed by supervision

• High School education required
• Good communication skills required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds for extended periods

• Indoor and outdoor working conditions
• Exposed to adverse weather conditions
• Exposed to suspended loads and overhead obstructions
• Exposed to machine noise associated with cranes and heavy equipment
• Exposed to dust associated with woodworking, concrete products, and concrete repair
