Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NICU Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Attend deliveries, perform neonatal stabilization and admission assessments, and provide support to families during this critical time.
  • Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy, and delegate tasks to non-licensed staff as needed.
  • Provide education and support to families on homecare, treatments, and adoption, and assist with high-risk deliveries and resuscitation efforts.
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a well-baby nursery or Level 2 or 3 Nursery as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
