POSITION SUMMARY: A Retail Host/Hostess embodies warmth, exceptional customer service, and high standards while assisting patrons as they explore our venue's merchandise offerings. The Retail Host/Hostess warmly welcomes customers upon entry, addresses inquiries regarding products and store policies, and aids in locating desired items. This role includes managing transactions and ensuring the sales area is tidy and well-stocked. The objective is to enhance our business growth by delivering a memorable shopping experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Warmly greet guests as they arrive and depart, maintaining a genuine smile and eye contact.
  • Recommend products, share insights, and provide detailed merchandise information.
  • Stay vigilant and attentive on the sales floor to assist with customer needs.
  • Handle customer complaints or refunds with a positive demeanor and professionalism.
  • Process financial transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Ensure the sales floor remains organized and well-stocked.
  • Maintain orderly stock rooms and accurately monitor inventory levels.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Customer-focused attitude and patience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in cashier responsibilities and handling cash.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred experience of at least 6 months in retail roles.
  • Preferred experience of at least 6 months in customer service roles.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE:

  • Varied shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
