Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Tilson is a leading provider of information infrastructure solutions, and we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wireless equipment and structures.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the maintenance of cell towers, small cells, and other wireless equipment and structures.
  • Perform civil work, including trenching and running conduit.
  • Conduct build work, including installation and removal of antennas and remote radio heads.
  • Complete scopes of work assigned by the Maintenance Lead, ensuring safety, quality, timelines, and financial expectations are met.
  • Participate in the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) Telecommunications Industry Registered Apprenticeship Program (TIRAP), which provides approximately one year of full-time on-the-job training.
Qualifications:
  • Previous training and/or 36 months experience climbing telecommunications towers is preferred.
  • Familiarity with major carriers, including VZW, Sprint, T-Mobile, Ericson, and AT&T, is required.
  • Excellent safety record and ability to climb up to 200+ feet into the air on telecommunications antennas are essential.
  • Civil and build work experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license is preferred.
  • Able to work in varying weather conditions.

Tilson leads with integrity around pay transparency; as part of the compensation plan for this position, you can expect a pay range of $30.00.
