Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and monitor both summary level and detailed schedules for projects of all sizes and complexities.
  • Plan, set up, and lead interactive planning sessions to ensure successful project planning and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Direct the setup and monitoring of physical earned progress and review work products of all schedulers and planners on the project.
  • Present schedule status to project leaders, department managers, and executive management.
  • Interface with project management, engineering discipline leaders, engineering management, procurement management, construction management, and subcontracts.
  • Organize and lead project schedule status meetings and lead development of department initiatives related to planning tools and progress measurement templates.
  • Mentor other schedulers and planners and ensure the Planning & Scheduling project team follows all department procedures, guidelines, tools, and work methods.
Requirements
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under time pressure.
  • Advanced skills with MS Excel software and extensive experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Experience using Primavera P6 in a collaborative environment with suppliers, partners, subcontractors, or clients.
  • Extensive experience with scheduling and progress measurement of the engineering, procurement, and construction work processes.
  • Minimum of 15 years of planning & scheduling experience in the energy industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Extensive experience with multi-office execution and module fabrication yard execution.
  • Experience working on a field construction site or in a module yard fabrication facility.
  • Working knowledge of MS Access software, MS Power BI software, and MS PowerPoint software.
  • Significant experience with in-house and third-party progress measurement software, quantitative risk analysis techniques for schedules, and change management process.
  • AACE International certification or working knowledge of AACE recommended practices in the areas of Planning & Scheduling or general Project Controls.
